Covid put a stop to our traveling for a while…then when we got back to going, I didn’t keep up with this blog at all! So, this is my first post in a long time and on this day in May, 2025, I’m going to go back two years to see if i can play a little catch up. Here’s our Smokies.

Normally, when we go on vacation, we don’t do as much relaxing as we do running around seeing all the things we think we need to see. This trip was not really vacation, more of a really long weekend, and we didn’t do much running around at all. We hit a brewpub, (Peaceful Side Social), spent a couple hours at the Scottish festival, took a drive in the country, and spent most of our time here at the campsite. It was awesome! This was the first real trip with our new-to-us camper with the rear panoramic window. We stayed at the Townsend KOA, which is a beautiful campground and we got lucky to get a site on the Pigeon River.
