Camped a few times over the past couple years at Beaver Springs, Piedmont. I can’t figure out why I love camping so much… middle of nature/nowhere? We already live there. Beautiful view? We already have that. I have to figure out the secret so I can live like I’m camping every day 😊😊😊. But in the meantime there are places like this that we love. It’s mostly a place to relax and it’s near Clearwater Lake, which is a great fishing lake. However, there are a few festivals throughout the year in Piedmont. A big one is the Ozark Heritage Festival in October of each year. Also, a trip to Piedmont is not complete without stopping at Piedmont Processing to get jalapeño cheddar sausage. Yum!

There’s a really nice bike path up the road from Beaver Springs…I believe it starts in the Clearwater COE campground…some of it runs next to the water and it’s pretty flat. We have bikes now, so we’ll have to try it out next time we go.
